Deer Valley and Park City are so close together that it is possible to go - illegally - under the ropes from one to another. Talks aimed at linking them continue. However, Deer Valley is not keen to link because of its exclusive label and ban on snowboarders.Access to the top of the main ski area is by two detachable six-person chairlifts, which take 12 minutes from Park City to the Summit House Restaurant. The highest point is Jupiter Bowl. Snow-users of all standards will find suitable runs from the summit to the bottom of the Silverlode six-person chair. Park City also has floodlit skiing. The trails have been described as "beautifully groomed and policed" - but perhaps not quite so pristine as neighbouring Deer Valley.
