OverviewDeer Valley is Park City's neighbour, a 40-minute drive from Salt Lake City in Utah, the state that boasts the finest, driest powder snow in the world. In 2002 the region successfully hosted the Winter Olympics, Deer Valley the aerial events and famous men's slalom where the Scottish skier Alain Baxter won, and then lost again, Britain's first Olympic alpine medal. Unashamedly luxurious, Deer Valley lies one mile north-east of Park City, up a winding mountain road lined with multi-million-dollar homes.
