StayingBreckenridge is a bustling town that prides itself on accommodating 25,000 snow-users among its 254 downtown restored structures (which date from 1859) and in its self-contained resort/shopping complexes closer to the slopes. It is the oldest continually occupied community in Colorado and has embraced conservation with a fervour that European visitors might regard as verging on the kitsch or over-cute.Breckenridge features a lot of places to eat in (more than 50) and the resort is chock-a-block with boutiques, art galleries and ski shops.
