Overview Official UK Courmayeur Ski Desk
No-one knows Courmayeur like we do, with a 22 year history in this resort, we provide a service that is second to none. We aim to enhance your visit and share an understanding of local life, gastronomy, people and culture. A new tunnel completely by passes the resort, removing the misconception the resort had a main road running through it (it was never actually the case anyway as the resort is set above the old road). Having arrived, the good intermediate British skier with a fair bit of bottle and a love of high places can sweep through some of the most sensational mountain scenery in the world and finish on the Mer de Glace above Chamonix. The Vallee-Blanche is one of the most famous ski runs in the world and is accessible from Courmayeur's Punta Helbronner where the skies are the deepest blue and the landscape takes your breath away. Your day is backed up by the professionalism of the local mountain guides;who combine the highest safety standards with the maximum sense of fun and adventure. Not all British skiers are aggressive downhillers, and Courmayeur's mountain bars slow down the pace. With table service instead of the frantic 'self-service' queues and real Italian pasta, a decent bottle of wine is washed down with a bill just as agreeable. Altitude: 1200m-2624m.
