Overview

This is the ideal resort for a ski weekend for individuals or groups. This former Olympic ski area is only 90 minutes from Munich and one hour from Innsbruck providing a great choice of flights. The twin resorts are architecturally alluring, with a pedestrianised centre and many buildings featuring "luftelmalerei" frescoes. There are plenty of apres-ski bars andclubs and a must is a visit to Bavarian restaurants with traditional 'slap dancers" in authentic costume!
