The USA has about 500 ski areas spread across more than 40 states, including many of the world famous resorts such as around Lake Tahoe, Aspen, Jackson Hole and Vail. America ski resorts are famous for their high service standards, the quality of accommodation, relatively deserted pistes and excellent, varied resort restaurants.
